EFOA gives input on RVP Waiver applications

EFOA has submitted comments to the Commission (DG CLIM) urging them to reject the application by the Czech Republic for an ethanol RVP waiver.

EFOA has repeatedly argued against an ethanol RVP waiver as it believes that the ethanol waiver is in contradiction to EU Air Quality Directive 2008/50/EC on ambient air quality and cleaner air in Europe as it puts at risk national targets on both VOC and ozone emissions which are designed to protect human health.
